We have internet/cell service yay!

We finished out a good week in San Diego.  We bought a new love seat for our RV.  It is such a small space in the slide but we found one that fits plus we have a little space on the side for a small table.  It is brown leather and both sides recline by push button!  Poor Ted has been sitting on the sofa bed couch that you either sank in or since we put a sofa stiffener under the cushions, it was pretty hard.  It is really comfortable and looks good.  I took this picture at the store!

On Saturday we had some baseball!  Trent's team played but didn't do to well so they got knocked out of the tournament early.  There were three accidents at the field that day and one of them was on Trent's team.  His teammate was at bat and got hit in the face with the ball, right at the corner of his mouth and nose.  They had to call the paramedics and they took him to the hospital.  Haven't heard yet how he is doing.

Our team lost on Super Bowl Sunday!  They made it a great game but still lost!  Peggy came over for pizza and wine and we had a great afternoon anyway!

On Tuesday we moved up to Wilderness Lakes which is in Menifee, California, near Hemet.  We had to drive by the Ford Dealership in Fontana so they could drive the truck with the RV on the back and see how it "clunks" when it downshifts to 5th gear.  The technician didn't drive it so we drove out of our way for nothing, but have an appointment for Thursday morning!

On Wednesday I drove down to San Diego for a nail appointment and then met the flip flop ladies at Claim Jumpers.  We celebrated two birthdays and had a lot of laughs!

So yesterday was our appointment for the truck.  We left here at 6:15 a.m. and because of the fog got there at 7:46!  We were getting an oil change, having them fix the driver side mirror which would not telescope in and find out about the transmission.  Oil change went fine and had to order a new motor assembly for mirror (which will hopefully come in today).  The transmission is normal they tell us because when you have cruise control on and going up a hill they want the transmission to shift quickly and firmly to avoid slippage which will cause problems with the transmission.  They say it will be smoother without the cruise control on but you will not get as good gas mileage.  Ted asked them to please make sure that our complaint is noted in the Ford computer and not just the dealership computer.  We will have to go back when the part for the mirror comes in!

Today it is raining, cold out, windy and even some hail!  We have decided it's a good day to stay inside where its warm and snugly!

Warm and snuggy..."Ain't Life Grand!"
