On Tuesday we took the RV to La Mesa RV to have them fix the ice maker and a couple of small things. Of course they had to order a part and so we will be going back on Wednesday the 12th. In the mean time out at Pio Pico we were having electrical problems. Of course it started in the middle of the night. We would hear a very loud boom, click the power would go out and then over and over it would boom click even when the power went back on. On Tuesday night after being at La Mesa it happened every two hours....no sleep for us! Apparently when the power at the campground would drop, our electrical system would turn off so that the generator could take over. Anyway, they have ordered a new part for that and it should be there on Wednesday also. Since we have been at Wilderness Lakes it hasn't happened thankfully. When we go back to Pio Pico we will make sure we stay off Row C, it has too many electrical problems.
On Sunday, Trent was asked to pitch with the Show. He wasn't playing in the tournament but they called and asked him so he did! Trent did a great job pitching. Unfortunately there were some errors and so they came in second place. I took this picture of him on the mound and an actual pitch:
This is Trent's Mom, Gina and his Nana, Jeri at the baseball game cheering Trent on (when they are not smiling at the camera)!
On Wednesday, my friend Jeri and I headed to Harrah's Casino in Valley Center for two nights! Her sister Meg joined us on Thursday with her friend Marge. We had a lot of fun, laughs and of course gambling and eating! I had a very good time. We met Ted and Stach for a late lunch Friday afternoon.
Ted and Sophie managed without me even with the power problem!
On Superbowl Sunday our friend Peggy came and watched the game. Even the commercials didn't wow us this year! Maybe next year!
We came up to Wilderness Lakes onTuesday. On Thursday we met Jeri and Stach at Pechanga. We gave them our queen size air mattress because we just don't have room for it and they were possibly having house guests. We had a good lunch and of course had to gamble a bit!
Yesterday Sophie had her first hair cut. We wanted a trim and they decided to use scissors since it was her first hair cut. She looks a little "hacked" in spots...perhaps she was wiggling too much...don't know, but she is cooler! It was mostly her legs, booty, stomach and feet where you can see the difference.

These are after:
While Sophie was getting bathed and trimmed, Ted and I had brunch at the Menifee Country Club! Food was yummy and Mimosa's pretty good too!
Here are the latest pictures of Sophie's niece Sophia (Craig and Claire's puppy):
Here she's taking a nap with Dad on the sofa...shhh don't tell mom!
Sleeping puppies and dog trainers..."Ain't Life Grand!"
